About Us

Udaya Secondary School is a public School located in Chandrakot Rural Municipality -4, Shantipur, Gulmi. It was established in 2014 BS with a great contribution of Late Mathura Prasad Shrestha and other social workers of the time. Since the time of establishment this school is providing quality education to the students of about a dozen villages of Chandrakor valley. It was recognized as a primary school at the beginning. Gradually, it became lower secondary (2017 BS), Secondary (2026) and higher secondary (2054 BS).

It has been running technical stream with plant science from class nine to twelve since 2070 BS. Now, Students can choose either general or technical stream from Grade 9. There are lots of subjects in grade 11 and 12 for the students' choice. The main subjects in the general stream are Accountancy, Economics, English, Nepali, Education, Math, Business math, Business Studies, Marketing and sociology. Its faculty consists of qualified professional with years of teaching experience. Udaya Secondary school has recently been recognized and added as the model school by the Ministry of Social Development, Province -5. It is committed to impart career-defining skills to make the students capable to face existing challenges of 21^st century.
